April 3

Very fun night last night. The women went out to St. James Gate, which is a very popular bar, with amazing local talent. The girls had their skater social last night. Tessa had so much fun. Karen, Sylvie and I got to bed about 3 and I think Tessa snuck in about 5 this morning. This is really going to hurt because we lost another hour today because they change their clocks ahead today.
We are checking out now, and not sure yet how we'll spend our day. We will end up in Moncton today because we fly out at 6:30 tomorrow morning, which is 3:30 our time. (Ugly)
We have loved PEI. It is a very beautiful place. I need to come back when everything is open here, which is June - Sept.

April 2

Tessa has ended up with the bronze medal!!!!!! We're very proud of her. We are going to have a quick bite to eat and then head back to the rink to watch Rachelle skate. She is in first right now. Things are looking very good for her.
Maybe today we'll get to Cavendish, but we have to make sure that we are back by 5:00 for the medal presentation.

When we came I felt that if Tessa placed in the top half that would be a high goal, but to have her on the podium is thrilling. It is also tough because she just as easily could have been first.

It has been so fun to read all your comments. Tessa runs to the computer to check on them. You've all been a great support to her. Thanks!!!!

Interpretive

Well Tessa got 2nd in her interpretive. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!! again. The 1st place girl from yesterday is now in 3rd and the 4th place girl from yesterday is now in 1st. The 1-4 place girls are all so close in points that tomorrow will tell the tale.
Hailey - your dance team is sitting in 1st place.
Larry and Jan - spent the afternoon with Tyler and Tara. It was very nice to see them. They were happy with their treats. They will come tomorrow too.
We haven't eaten yet so we are going for lunch. We had to stick around to watch the Silver Sask. girl. She is also doing very well. 1st or 2nd I think.

Charlottetown!

Hello everyone! thank you for all of your comments. we toured a lot today. this place is amazing and we have decided we might move here someday! one side of the city is huge, old houses like i have never seen before and the other side has new houses that are quite small on HUGE lots! in many different directions we saw the Province House (The home of Confederation) and visited an old bar. it was sweet. we got to see the brewery in the basement its sooo cool! the bar had the best fish and chips IN THE WORLD... according to mom! we went to the store of Anne of Green Gables. mom started to cry. it was so neat. we heard that the pope died... but i think it was an april fools jok or something because hes alive now! well good luck to the warriors and (sigh) the tigers.

Its so much fun to read your comments so thank you and keep on writing!

p.s. uncle gary- how old is eric??? (the dance pair)
p.s.s. uncle gary- mom will tell you why later!

Love From Tessa Hill

March 31 6:00

Tessa placed 2nd in her skills competition. Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is extremely happy with where she is. Jumping up and down, with a smile you can't wipe off.
We are going to a fancy seafood restaurant for supper to celebrate.
Larry Graham if you are reading this, I've misplaced Tyler's phone number. If you could put in the comment section what it is I'd appreciate it.

March 31

Happy Birthday Burleigh!!

Well we have arrived. It was a good trip to Moncton. A little bumpy coming in, but very smooth otherwise. Driving across Confederation Bridge was nothing short of amazing. When we finally saw it, going on forever, and just disappearing into the fog, we all started to scream. It was better than a ride at the fair. (You would have hated it Pog). Our hotel is okay. The weather is awful. The wind is so strong, it makes our prairie winds seems like a nice light breeze. And it is cold. We were worried the wind might blow us off of the bridge. 60 km was as fast as you could drive.
Tessa had her practise skate this morning. She had a good one. There are many good skaters here. She has her work cut out for her, but the possibility is there.
We want to go explore, but the weather is so bad that it kind of loses its appeal. We will be back to the rink by about 3:15 getting ready for her first skate.
